"A huge failure": Hungarian analyst criticizes the government over crisis and unfulfilled promises

Hungarian political scientist Csaba Attila Nagy (Nagy Csaba Attila) has sharply criticized the country's current authorities.

On his page on the social network X, the expert stated that the government is demonstrating complete incompetence, a lack of crisis management, and an inability to keep its pre-election promises.

In his post, the expert provides a list of the social and economic problems the country has faced, mocking the political slogans of the opponents of the previous leadership:

"Since Orbán is no longer stealing:

❌ The 3% loan for entrepreneurs has been discontinued;

❌ The protected fuel price has been abolished;

❌ The freeze on mortgage interest rates is being canceled;

❌ No funds were found for the promised one-time payment of 100,000 forints at the start of the school year for 700,000 families;

❌ The "immediate" doubling of the child benefit has not been introduced;

❌ Nurses' salaries have not been raised "immediately";

❌ The reduced VAT on healthy food products has not been introduced "on the very first day";

❌ Power outages are being observed;

❌ For the first time in history, the Paks nuclear power plant is being shut down;

❌ Problems with water supply have arisen;

❌ Fuel shortages are being recorded in many regions."

The political scientist separately responded to supporters of the Tisza party who are trying to blame the utility and energy collapse on force majeure natural factors.

"Before representatives of the Tisza party say that the government is not to blame for the drought, let us point out the main thing: this is a party that handed out promises irresponsibly and without any concept whatsoever. They are clearly unfit to govern the country. The drought, the shrinking Danube, and the fuel crisis are processes that did not begin in a single day; it was already known in the spring that the water level in the Danube would become critical. This government will be a huge failure for the entire country," he concluded.
