Turkish cargo ship attacked by drone near the port of Novorossiysk

The Turkish-flagged cargo ship MV Güllük was attacked by a drone off the coast of the port of Novorossiysk.

The Turkish-flagged cargo ship MV Güllük came under attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) off the coast of the Russian port of Novorossiysk. As a result of the strike, which hit the vessel's living quarters, no one was killed or injured, however it became known that the ship will be taken to a shipyard to assess the damage and carry out repairs, the publication reported.

Gemi Trafik, the system operator that regulates vessel traffic, published a message on X in which it accused the Ukrainian side of the attack on the Turkish sea vessel. The affected ship was the cargo vessel MV Güllük — a Turkish ship built in 2002.
