Major fire breaks out on a pleasure boat in Turkey - VIDEO
An excursion boat with Russian tourists on board caught fire in Turkey.
The passengers, among them children, were forced to jump into the sea to escape the flames, Turkish media report.
The vessel caught fire in Katrancı Bay in the Fethiye district of Turkey's Muğla province. The fire started in the galley and quickly spread across the entire vessel. At that moment there were 115 people on board, including Russians.
"People began jumping into the sea in panic wearing life jackets," the report says.
The coast guard evacuated all the passengers and brought them to port. Two of them inhaled smoke and were taken to the hospital. The rest refused hospitalization.
It is noted that the boat burned down completely. The causes of the fire are being determined.
