Foreign Ministry names number of mine victims since the Patriotic War

Since the end of the 2020 Patriotic War, 436 people have been injured in mine explosions in Azerbaijan.

As noted in a post by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the social network X, two mine explosions have occurred over the past two days, injuring three civilians.

The Foreign Ministry emphasized that these incidents once again demonstrate the persistent threat associated with the conflict's mine legacy. Mines continue to pose a danger to people's lives, as well as hinder reconstruction work and the safe return of former internally displaced persons to their homes.

Recall that mine incidents occurred on August 12 in the Khojavend district and on August 13 in the Kalbajar district. Three people were injured as a result of the two incidents.
