China urges Japan not to play with fire on nuclear weapons issues

Beijing calls on Tokyo to stop playing with fire on nuclear weapons issues, said Chinese Ambassador to Moscow Zhang Hanhui.

"If Tokyo decides to create its own nuclear weapons, the strategic balance in Northeast Asia will be completely disrupted, and a nuclear arms race in the region could break out at any moment. If the Japanese right wing continues to play with fire on nuclear policy issues, in the end the Japanese will once again find themselves in the dock of history," he noted in an article for TASS.
