In Sweden on Friday, several people were injured at a school in the municipality of Fagersta at the hands of an assailant armed with a sword.
This is reported by SVT, according to "European Pravda."
According to local authorities, the assailant with a sword entered the school and injured several people. He was detained by police.
"We are conducting an operation in this area, and that is the only thing we can say at the moment," said local police representative Pelle Vamstad.
According to an SVT reporter at the scene, ambulances and a police helicopter are there. A police tactical unit is also on site.
Because of this incident, several schools have gone into lockdown for students.
"We have received information about a serious incident in Fagersta. Police are at the scene and are working intensively on the investigation. The government is in close contact with the police and is constantly monitoring developments," says Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer.
