Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev has shared footage from the new building of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami Ganjavi, founded in 1935.

The post was made during the state visit of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Tashkent, within the framework of which the leaders of the two countries took part in the third meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council. The launch of the university's new building was announced by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who emphasized the deep historical and cultural ties between the peoples.

Commenting on the results of the high-level meetings, Hikmet Hajiyev noted that this visit marks the official transition of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan from strategic alliance to eternal friendship and brotherhood.
