Ozon warehouses and a children's center attacked in Russia: there are dead and injured - VIDEO
On the night of August 24, three large Ozon warehouse complexes came under attack in Russia, resulting in deaths and injuries.
ASTRA reports this, citing local authorities and eyewitnesses.
In Krasnodar, children were killed when debris from Ukrainian drones fell on a children's center.
In addition, in Krasnodar, following a drone attack, a warehouse of the Kuchenland Home household goods chain at 24/8 Krugovaya Street caught fire — ASTRA geolocated the site. Drone debris fell on a private children's center in Krasnodar, killing two children, while another seven children and two adults were injured, the governor reported. Residential buildings and buildings under construction were also damaged.
In Adygea, the large Ozon warehouse "KRASNODAR_2_RFC" near Enem was attacked. Initially, Ozon reported an attack on its logistics center "in Krasnodar," but ASTRA established that the facility is located in the village of Druzhny in Adygea's Takhtamukaysky district. The head of Adygea confirmed the attack and the fire at the Ozon logistics center. According to him, staff were evacuated, and there is no information about deaths or injuries. The Emergencies Ministry and rescue workers have been brought in to extinguish the fire.
In Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Territory, ASTRA used eyewitness footage to geolocate a fire at a large regional Ozon fulfillment center at 25s1k1 Priozernaya Street, with an area of 93,500 square meters. Ozon later reported that the warehouse had been evacuated due to the threat of an attack, that employees were unharmed, and that the facility and goods were intact.
In Dagestan, the Ozon logistics center in the "Tyube" industrial park in the Kumtorkalinsky district was attacked — the company's largest warehouse in the North Caucasus, with an area of about 130,000 square meters. In Ozon's system the facility is called "MAKHACHKALA_RFC." A fire broke out. Ozon confirmed several injured people in Dagestan; they were examined by doctors, and there is no threat to their lives. The warehouse's operations have been halted, goods have been hidden from the storefront, and logistics routes are being redistributed. Dagestan authorities had earlier reported a fire at warehouse premises after fragments of drones fell, but stated there were no casualties.
In Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov region, residents report smoke over the city following the attack.
Located there is the Russian military-industrial complex facility "Kamensky Plant," which was already attacked on August 16.
