U.S. imposes new sanctions against Iran

The United States has added around 50 legal entities, more than 20 individuals, and six oil tankers to its sanctions list targeting Iran.

This was reported by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Washington's new sanctions are aimed at Iran's sources of revenue and its oil sector.
