YouTube blocks three "Masha and the Bear" channels in Ukraine
YouTube has blocked three channels of the Russian animated series "Masha and the Bear" on the territory of Ukraine, the Center for Countering Disinformation under Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) reported.
The channels in question are the Russian-language, Ukrainian-language, and English-language ones. According to the center, all three resources are listed in the NSDC decision on the imposition of sanctions, which took effect after a decree by the president of Ukraine.
The agency stated that the block will restrict Ukrainian children's access to the animated series, and will also deprive Russia of the opportunity to earn money from these channels and use them for "hybrid influence."
