Detained Robert Kocharyan's condition worsens: he was taken to a medical center
The condition of former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan, who was detained in the morning, has worsened.
The Anti-Corruption Committee told Sputnik Armenia about this.
It is noted that Kocharyan's blood pressure rose. An ambulance crew was called.
The former head of the Armenian state was hospitalized for further medical examination.
In turn, the head of the office of Armenia's second president, Bagrat Mikoyan, reported that the second president of Armenia had recently undergone a medical examination and procedures, which had not been publicly announced. Based on this fact, the doctor considered it necessary to conduct an additional examination.
Since early morning, searches have been conducted at the home of Armenia's second president, Robert Kocharyan, that of his son Levon Kocharyan, as well as at companies belonging to his family. The former head of the Armenian state and his elder son Sedrak Kocharyan were detained.
The Anti-Corruption Committee reported that, as part of the criminal proceedings, searches and other procedural actions are being carried out at several dozen addresses.
