Iran's foreign minister allows for a return to talks with the U.S.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that a return to the negotiating process with the United States is still possible, but for that Washington must abandon pressure.

"It is entirely realistic to bring diplomacy back onto a constructive track. For that, the U.S. must realize one simple fact: pressure does not work," he wrote on X. Araghchi called on the American administration to conduct dialogue with respect, to recognize Iran's rights, and to honor its commitments.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump said that the Washington administration is currently not interested in holding consultations and meetings with the Iranian authorities.
