Woman who attacked passersby with a knife shot dead in New York

According to the channel, on the afternoon of August 31, at the intersection of West 43rd Street and Seventh Avenue near Times Square, a woman armed with a knife wounded at least two people. After that, law enforcement officers killed her.

One of the attacker's victims, the channel notes, died in the hospital, while the other's injuries are life-threatening.

Authorities stated that the incident was likely not a terrorist attack. Information about the attacker's mental health is currently being verified.
