Mass poisoning at a resort in Romania: more than 40 people sought medical help
At least 6 people have been hospitalized with food poisoning, and another 36 are receiving medical care at a hotel in the Black Sea resort of "Saturn" in Romania.
This was reported by the regional emergency situations inspectorate "Dobrogea."
Dozens of guests sought help due to acute pain. The authorities activated the "red intervention plan," and ambulances and rescue vehicles arrived at the scene.
According to the country's Ministry of Health, the symptoms point to a foodborne toxic infection. Emergency medical care was provided to 55 people, and staff of the county health directorate took samples from the hotel's food service unit for examination.
