Two vessels came under attack near Oman
Two vessels off the coast of Oman were attacked by four unidentified projectiles.
As 1news.az reports, this was announced by the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), the maritime trade coordination center of the British Navy.
"Report of an incident involving two vessels four nautical miles west of Khasab (Oman). The ship's master reported seeing four unidentified projectiles strike two unidentified vessels; a fire broke out on one of them, while the condition of the second vessel, located six nautical miles north of his position, is unknown," the report said.
It is specified that an investigation into the incident is underway. Vessels in the region have been advised to exercise caution when transiting this area and to report any suspicious activity.
