Pashinyan describes future relations with Russia as ones that "will never be the same"

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that relations between Armenia and Russia "will inevitably change," but these changes are not connected to any particular person or political force. He expressed his opinion in an interview with Boon TV.

"Our relations with Russia will inevitably change, this is not connected to any person or political force. Whoever it may be, the relations between Armenia and Russia will not be the same as before," he said.

The prime minister linked the upcoming changes in relations with Moscow to the new conditions in which his country finds itself. According to him, the previous relations developed in conditions of military conflict, and now Armenia is "in an atmosphere of peace." He also noted that he does not foresee a deterioration in relations with Russia, but wishes to deepen them in the new peaceful environment.
