Lithuania and the U.S. to set up drone production

Lithuania and the American company Mach Industries have signed a declaration on establishing joint drone production in Lithuania.

This was reported by Lithuania's Ministry of National Defense.

The ministry stated that the project will allow Lithuania to become part of the production chain of U.S. defense technologies in Europe and of the military supply system.

Over the past three years, Vilnius has purchased weapons and equipment from the United States worth approximately €2 billion. Lithuania is the largest buyer of American weapons among the Baltic states.
