Russia extends ban on diesel exports
The Russian government has extended the temporary ban on the export of certain types of fuel by producers.
This was reported by the press service of the cabinet.
"A resolution has been signed on extending the ban on the export of diesel and marine fuel, as well as gas oils exported from the territory of Russia by direct producers, until October 31, 2026, inclusive," the statement says.
It is noted that the decision was made to maintain a stable situation on the domestic fuel market, including amid increased demand for motor fuel during the harvest campaign.
The general ban on fuel exports is in effect in the Russian Federation through January 31, 2027. At the same time, for direct producers of diesel and marine fuel and gas oils, the restriction had been imposed through September 30, 2026.
