Iran's delegation left New York in accordance with the schedule

The Iranian delegation that arrived in the United States to take part in the high-level week of the UN General Assembly left New York on September 28 in accordance with the original schedule.

This was reported by the Islamic Republic's permanent mission to the UN.

Earlier, the Axios portal, citing sources, reported that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio demanded on Monday, September 28, that the Iranian delegation to the UN General Assembly immediately leave the country after bilateral talks on a settlement reached a dead end.

"Iran's delegation left New York on Monday evening in accordance with the schedule that had been reported in advance — on September 17 — to the State Department. Having achieved nothing, the State Department resorted to spreading groundless and worthless news," the Iranian mission said in a post on its page on X.
