UKMTO: Fire opened on cargo ship off the coast of Iran
Fire was opened on a cargo ship off the coast of Iran, with no injuries reported, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
UKMTO received a report of an incident 8 nautical miles (15 kilometers - ed.) west of Iran. The captain of the cargo ship, which had set sail, reported that it was fired upon and is currently stationary in the water, the agency stated.
The ship's crew is safe, and there are no reports of damage, UKMTO added.
