U.S. Navy intercepts tanker carrying oil from Iran in Indian Ocean - VIDEO
The U.S. military department reported the interception of the tanker Majestic X in the Indian Ocean within the area of responsibility of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM).
"At night, U.S. forces conducted an operation to intercept and inspect the stateless vessel Majestic X, which is under sanctions. It was transporting oil from Iran in the Indian Ocean within the INDOPACOM area of responsibility," the Pentagon's statement, posted on X, said.
