Moscow hopes for Yerevan's commitment to allied obligations

Moscow hopes that the Armenian authorities will not allow the new EU mission in the country to 'involve Yerevan in anti-Russian policy,' stated Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

'We expect that our Armenian allies and friends will not permit the use of this new, so-called mission for interference in their internal affairs and for drawing Yerevan into the geopolitical games of the West, which imply the destruction of friendly ties with our country and involvement in Brussels' anti-Russian policy,' she said during a briefing.
