Trump: Iran's oil infrastructure could rupture in three days
Iran's oil pipelines could explode in about three days if the American naval blockade of the Islamic Republic continues.
US President Donald Trump made this statement.
The American leader emphasized that Iran's pipelines 'carry large volumes of oil.' 'And if for any reason this line is blocked due to the inability to load it (oil - ed. TASS) into storage or onto ships, which is happening to them (Iran - ed. TASS), because they have no ships due to the blockade, then this line will blow itself up from the inside,' he said in an interview with Fox News. Trump noted that Iran 'has about three days before this happens.'
According to the American president, in the event of such a development, Iran could lose half of its oil production capacity.
