USA announces strike on alleged drug traffickers' boat in the Pacific Ocean
On April 26, American military forces struck a vessel in the Pacific Ocean allegedly used by drug traffickers, resulting in the deaths of three individuals.
This was reported by the U.S. Southern Command.
"By order of the head of Southern Command, Francis Donovan, the Joint Task Force 'Southern Spear' carried out a lethal strike on the vessel on April 26," the statement posted on X reads. "Intelligence confirmed that the vessel was traveling a known drug smuggling route in the eastern Pacific Ocean and was being used for drug trafficking."
