Telegram conducts massive purge: over 100 thousand channels deleted in a day
On April 27, Telegram carried out a massive wave of blocks, deleting around 105,500 channels and groups worldwide for violating the platform's rules.
Such data comes from the official statistics of the service.
The overall scale of the purge is impressive: since the beginning of the year, the messenger's administration has already blocked more than 13.7 million channels and communities. In the last week alone, nearly 635,000 resources were restricted, indicating a noticeable tightening of moderation policies.
