British Navy reports tanker attack off the coast of UAE
A tanker was struck by unknown projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz off the coast of the UAE.
This was reported in a statement by the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) under the British Navy.
"UKMTO has received a report of an incident 78 nautical miles (125.9 km - ed. TASS) north of Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. The tanker was attacked by projectiles of unknown origin," the center stated on X.
It is noted that the crew of the vessel is safe, and there is no environmental impact due to the incident.
