EC: EPS summit to address military issues
The European Commission has confirmed that the European Political Community summit in Yerevan will address military issues.
According to a statement by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, made upon her arrival at the summit, the second topic after the energy crisis will be 'defense issues.'
'We need more independence in defense and security. We must strengthen our military capabilities to be able to protect and defend ourselves independently,' she emphasized, noting that the European Union intends to build a complete system of military supply chains.
