Iran declares threat to navigation in Strait of Hormuz due to U.S. actions
Safe navigation in the Strait of Hormuz has been threatened due to the violation by the United States and its allies of the ceasefire regime and the imposition of a naval blockade against Iran.
This was stated by the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
"A new balance of power is gradually being established in the Strait of Hormuz. The safety of navigation and the transit of energy resources have been endangered by the United States and its allies due to the violation of the ceasefire regime and the imposition of a blockade," he wrote on X.
In Ghalibaf's opinion, maintaining the current situation is absolutely intolerable for the United States, although Iran has not yet begun to take any actions.
