Trump suggests conflict with Iran may last another two to three weeks
US President Donald Trump believes that the conflict with Iran will last another two to three weeks, while asserting that American forces have achieved the main objectives of the campaign.
"We have already destroyed much of what we wanted to, and we probably need another two, maybe three weeks. Time is not a determining factor for us," the American leader said in a conversation with radio host Hugh Hewitt.
Trump is confident that the US will either strike a deal with Tehran or achieve a final military victory.
"One way or another, we will win. Either we will make the right deal, or we will achieve an easy victory from a military standpoint. We have already won in this regard. I have said this a million times, and other people have too. They had 159 ships, and now they have none. They are all at the bottom of the sea. Today we destroyed eight of the remaining small speedboats they had," he said.
