A cargo ship was struck, presumably by a land-based cruise missile, in the Persian Gulf region.

This was reported by CBS News, citing American officials.

According to their information, the strike on the vessel CGM San Antonio, owned by a French company, occurred on the evening of May 5. Several crew members from the Philippines were injured.

According to marine traffic tracking data, around noon on May 5, the ship was located near Dubai, but no further information on the vessel's movements has been provided, CBS reports.

Earlier, the UK Maritime Trade Operations center, under the British Navy, reported that since the start of the war between the US and Israel against Iran, 25 ships have been attacked in the Persian Gulf region.
