Pentagon signs $500 million contract for AI implementation
The U.S. Department of Defense and Scale AI have signed a $500 million contract.
The Pentagon expects that collaboration with this company will help streamline data processing and decision-making, according to the agency. It is noted that the agreement amount is five times larger than the contract Scale AI received from the Pentagon in September 2025. According to Dan Tadross, the head of the company's government sector division, the new contract 'proves that the department is committed to implementing this technology.'
In January, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth announced plans to introduce more AI-based tools and remove bureaucratic barriers to their adoption.
