New arrests made at Istanbul city hall

The Republican Prosecutor's Office of Istanbul has conducted a new operation targeting the Istanbul city hall.

Arrest warrants have been issued for 30 individuals on charges of manipulating tenders through a fictitious public procurement system. Of these, 29 have already been detained, while one has been declared wanted.

Among those detained are members of the administration and heads of departments.

To date, in the corruption case against the Istanbul municipality, which involves 414 suspects, 77 of whom are under arrest, the 34th court hearing has been completed.
