Russian Ministry of Transport: Operations of 13 airports in southern Russia suspended due to Ukrainian Armed Forces attack
Due to a drone strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the administrative building of Air Navigation, the operations of 13 airports in southern Russia have been suspended.
This was reported by Russian media with reference to the press service of the Russian Ministry of Transport.
"The work of the regional center in Rostov-on-Don, which manages air traffic in southern Russia, has been temporarily adjusted due to Ukrainian UAVs hitting the administrative building of the 'Air Navigation of Southern Russia' branch," the statement said.
It is specified that the personnel of the 'Air Navigation of Southern Russia' branch are safe. At the moment, an assessment of the equipment's functionality is underway.
