The Pentagon sent American servicemen to Ukraine to study the experience of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the use of unmanned aerial vehicles.

This was stated by Pentagon chief Pete Hegset, noting that he personally approved the decision.

According to him, US Army representatives have already visited Ukraine multiple times, and such trips allow them to adopt combat experience gained during the conflict.

Hegset emphasized that new groups of specialists were sent to study drone use in both offensive and defensive operations. The goal is to quickly integrate the acquired knowledge into the US armed forces, especially as part of developing "drone dominance."

During discussions in Congress, he noted that the conflict is viewed as an important source of practical lessons for the US Army and the development of modern combat technologies.

It was previously reported that Ukrainian company F10, which specializes in FPV drones, became one of the finalists in the American Drone Dominance competition organized by the US Department of War and may receive a contract to supply drones.

Reuters also reported that the Ukrainian Sky Map system, used to protect against drones, has been implemented at a US base in Saudi Arabia and is already being used to counter attacks in the region.
