Iran names number of those killed in conflict with US and Israel
The number of those killed in Iran during the conflict with the US and Israel is 3483, said the head of the press service of the Iranian Ministry of Health Hossein Kermanpur.
The Iranian Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Foundation reported on April 18 the death of 3468 people during the hostilities.
"The data we have on the dead is 3483 people," Iranian TV channel SNN quotes Kermanpur.
The US and Israel began striking targets on Iranian territory on February 28. Washington and Tehran announced a ceasefire on April 8. The talks that took place after that in Islamabad ended without results, while no resumption of hostilities was reported, but the United States began a blockade of Iranian ports.
