A fantastic joint future awaits us: Trump says US-China relations will be better than ever before

Relations between China and the US will be better than ever before.

This was stated by US President Donald Trump during a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

"It is an honor for me to be with you. It is an honor for me to be your friend," Trump said.

"We got everything done. When difficulties arose, we solved them. I called you, and you called me, and when we had a problem, people didn't know about it. When we had a problem, we solved it very quickly... A fantastic joint future awaits us... Relations between China and the US will be better than ever," the US president stated.

As the American leader noted, the US intends to do business with China on a reciprocal basis. Trump added that he brought with him the world's largest entrepreneurs.

Recall that US President Donald Trump arrived in Beijing on a state visit on May 13. Before departure, he stated that he expects positive results from the trip.
