Tokaev and Erdogan hold meeting in Astana
The meeting of the presidents of Kazakhstan and Turkey, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, within the framework of the Turkish leader's state visit is taking place in Astana.
It is noted that Erdogan arrived in Kazakhstan on a state visit on May 13 at the invitation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
It was previously reported that the heads of state will discuss the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations. Tokayev and Erdogan will also hold the sixth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between Kazakhstan and Turkey.
On May 15, an informal summit of leaders of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States will take place in the Kazakh city of Turkestan. The theme of the summit is "Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development."
