Media: Armenia could have received Iranian AD-08 Majid air defense systems

During the rehearsal of a military parade in Yerevan, Iranian short-range anti-aircraft systems AD-08 Majid were spotted.

If the information is confirmed, Armenia may become the first known foreign operator of this air defense system.

According to preliminary data, deliveries could have been carried out as part of an alleged secret arms deal between Iran and Armenia, which was reported in the summer of 2024. The estimated value of the agreement is approximately $500 million.
