IDF confirms elimination of new Hamas military leader in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated the elimination of the new leader of the military wing of the Palestinian movement Hamas, Muhammad Ude.

According to the IDF press service, confirmation of his death was received after a targeted strike on the northern part of the Gaza Strip, carried out on May 26.

It is reported that Ude headed the armed wing of Hamas for about two weeks, replacing Izzeddin al-Haddad in this post, who was previously eliminated as a result of a pinpoint strike. Before his appointment, he led the intelligence unit of the movement.

The Israeli army claims that it was in this role that Muhammad Ude participated in the planning and coordination of the attack on Israeli territory on October 7, 2023.
