Snow cover height on Shahdag reached 1 cm - actual weather
As of 10:00, rainy weather is observed across Azerbaijan, with lightning flashing periodically in places and rain falling.
As reported by the National Hydrometeorological Service, precipitation in some areas was intense and heavy, and snow fell on Shahdag. The height of the snow cover on Shahdag reached 1 cm.
In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, 6 mm of precipitation fell, which is 60% of the monthly norm.
The highest amounts of precipitation were recorded in Oguz - 53 mm (44% of the monthly norm), Sheki - 46 mm (45%), Gabala - 45 mm (40%), Zagatala - 37 mm (29%), Goygol - 33 mm (27%), Khaltan - 33 mm (36%), Balakan - 31 mm (24%), Khinalig - 25 mm (53%), on Shahdag - 24 mm (51%), Gryz - 24 mm (26%).
In addition, on June 6, hail with a diameter of 9 mm fell in the Zagatala district. Hail was also observed in the village of Goyabakhan in the Tovuz district and the village of Novosaratovka in the Gadabay district.
Fog is observed in Lerik, Balakan, and Gryz. Visibility in the fog is limited to 500 meters.
The maximum air temperature reached up to 29 degrees in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, up to 33 degrees in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, up to 31 degrees in the lowland regions, and up to 20 degrees in the mountainous regions of the country.
