Iran warned of more large-scale strikes on US targets in case of repeated aggression
After new US strikes, Iran's armed forces attacked American military bases located in the region.
The central headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces "Hazrat Khatam al-Anbiya" assured that if the aggression is repeated, the response will be stronger, reports Press TV.
"The American army must know that if it repeats any aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, even more serious and large-scale strikes will be inflicted on certain targets in the region," the headquarters statement said.
The command emphasized that "several American bases in the region were subjected to a powerful attack by the heroic army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the brave warriors of the IRGC" in response to strikes by American troops on southern Iran on Wednesday night "under the false pretext of the crash of their helicopter."
According to American media, on the night of June 10, three series of strikes were carried out on Iran in response to the downing of an American Apache helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz. In response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched missiles and drones at US-linked targets in the region.
