Final results of elections in Armenia to be announced tomorrow
The final results of the parliamentary elections in Armenia will be announced after a meeting of the Central Election Commission (CEC) at 18:00 (17:00 Moscow time) on Sunday, June 14.
Participants in the meeting will also consider a statement on declaring the elections invalid and discuss the issue of holding a repeat vote at several polling stations.
"During the meeting, the issue of holding repeat elections at three polling stations will also be discussed, as well as statements by the organizations 'Strong Armenia' and 'Wings of Unity' on declaring the elections invalid," the publication says.
Earlier, the CEC recounted votes at 637 polling stations. As a result, the party 'Civil Contract' of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan gained 1,148 votes, the alliance 'Strong Armenia' of businessman Samvel Karapetyan gained 508 votes, and the Alliance 'Armenia' of ex-President Robert Kocharyan also received 217 more votes after the recount (145,113).
