Turkish foreign ministry: We welcome agreement between US and Iran
We welcome the agreement reached on ending the war between the US and Iran.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan wrote this on his page on the social network X.
The minister noted that the agreement is an important step towards establishing sustainable peace and stability in the region: "We hope that the final negotiations will continue in a constructive manner.
We congratulate the parties that have taken this important step, as well as other countries that contributed to the process, primarily Pakistan and Qatar, which took on the role of mediators.
From the point of view of preventing attempts to violate the reached agreement, protecting regional peace and security, it is extremely important that all involved countries demonstrate a restrained and responsible position.
As Turkey, under the leadership of our President, we have provided great support and contributed to this process from the very beginning. Our support for the establishment of peace, tranquility and stability in our region will continue without interruption."
