Iran reveals details of peace deal with US

The draft memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States, consisting of 14 points, includes a provision for a reconstruction plan worth $300 billion, which the US and its allies must present.

This is stated in a report by Iranian media.

According to the source, the full text of the draft includes the following provisions:
1. Permanent and immediate cessation of war on all fronts, including Lebanon.

2. US commitment not to interfere in Iran's internal affairs and to respect the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

3. Complete lifting of the maritime blockade within 30 days.

4. US commitment to withdraw its troops from areas surrounding Iran.

5. Resumption of operations in the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days in accordance with agreements with Iran.

6. Suspension of sanctions on the sale of oil, petrochemical products and their derivatives, as well as granting Iran full access to its financial resources.

7. Provision by the United States and its allies of reconstruction plans totaling at least $300 billion.

8. 60-day period of negotiations to reach a final agreement on the nuclear issue and the complete lifting of US primary and secondary sanctions, UN Security Council resolutions and IAEA Board of Governors resolutions.

9. Confirmation of Iran's commitment under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) not to produce nuclear weapons.

10. During the negotiations, the US undertakes not to increase its military presence in the region and not to impose new sanctions.

11. Unblocking of Iran's blocked funds in the amount of $24 billion during the 60-day period of final negotiations, with half of this amount to be provided to Iran before the start of negotiations.

12. Creation of a mechanism to monitor the implementation of the agreement.

13. Ratification of the final agreement by a UN Security Council resolution.

14. Final negotiations will not begin until half of Iran's frozen funds have been unblocked, sanctions on oil have been suspended and the maritime blockade has been lifted. The final agreement will deal exclusively with the fate of enriched materials and the enrichment process, the lifting of sanctions and Iran's economic recovery program. Negotiations on Iran's missile program and its support for Resistance movements are definitively excluded from the agenda.

In addition, it is emphasized that the final phase of negotiations still depends on the fulfillment of the conditions of the initial easing of sanctions and the unblocking of frozen capital.

Meanwhile, as stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the text still requires review and refinement by the relevant Iranian agencies.
