Netanyahu sums up the war with Iran

Israel, during a joint military operation with the United States, "beheaded the leadership" of Iran, "turned nuclear facilities to dust," struck Iran's missile program to prevent the threat of nuclear destruction.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated this at a press conference, his press service reported on the social network X.

"I hear people asking: what have we achieved? And my answer to them: what have we achieved?! We prevented an immediate threat of destruction. Together with our American friends, we conducted the largest offensive air operation in Israel's history," Netanyahu said.

According to him, Israel, together with the United States, neutralized nuclear scientists, beheaded Iran's leadership, destroyed nuclear facilities, missiles and missile production plants, as well as struck military infrastructure, destroyed Iran's navy and air force, neutralized Basij commanders, inflicting "colossal damage" on Iran's economy.

Netanyahu said that Iran was "racing toward nuclear weapons" and hastily burying its missile and nuclear industry underground. "And this threat, the threat of the destruction of Israel's population, we have prevented for many years to come," the prime minister added.

The prime minister noted that the fight is not over yet and Israel must remain vigilant regarding Iran and its "satellites" in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen. "At the same time, we did one more thing: we created deep security zones around the State of Israel. We did this in Gaza, in Lebanon, in Syria, where, by the way, we destroyed all the weapons of the army of [former Syrian President Bashar] Assad, which was the central link of the 'Axis of Evil,'" he said.

According to Netanyahu, Israel has completely changed its defense doctrine: "We broke the barrier of fear. We take the initiative, we attack, we act suddenly and strike at those who threaten our lives." Iran and its allies as a result of the military operation are "weaker than ever."

The prime minister promised to continue neutralizing threats, building new alliances, developing new technologies and investing in the independence of arms production.
