Trump states that Syria may deal with Hezbollah issue
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Syria could handle the settlement of issues with the Shiite organization Hezbollah.
"I suggested to Israel to allow Syria to deal with Hezbollah, because, honestly, I think they will handle it better," the American leader told reporters on the sidelines of the Group of Seven summit in France.
According to him, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa is exactly the person who is capable of restoring order when it comes to this organization, which, as Trump noted, "is a minor nuisance that constantly manifests itself."
