Fidan reported that Russia's position on Ukraine has not changed

The position of the Russian authorities on settlement issues in Ukraine has not changed; they are protecting the well-being of their country.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated this to the newspaper Türkiye following a bilateral visit to Russia that took place June 16-17.

"They [the Russian authorities] are protecting the well-being of their country within certain principles and are ready for a constructive approach. During my contacts in Russia, I noticed that the views of Russian officials on the Ukraine issue have not changed," he noted.
