All Moscow airports suspend operations
Moscow airports Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo, and Zhukovsky have closed to civilian aircraft flights, Rosaviatsiya reports.
“Restrictions are necessary to ensure safety,” the statement says.
On June 18, all Moscow airports had already suspended aircraft arrivals and departures.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that more than 180 drones were destroyed on approach to Moscow since the beginning of the day. In total, 555 drones were intercepted over Russia overnight.
