Trump no longer wants to be friends with Meloni
U.S. President Donald Trump continues to claim that Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni during the Group of Seven meeting in France "repeatedly asked to take a photo with me."
"Things are going badly for her in Italy, her popularity level is falling - perhaps because she refused the United States of America, a country that sincerely loves and protects Italy, when it came to not allowing Iran to obtain or develop nuclear weapons (as well as NATO, for that matter!). She did not even allow us to use Italy's runways, which created enormous logistical inconveniences, and this despite the fact that the U.S. annually allocates hundreds of billions of dollars to protect Italy and other so-called NATO allies. Now that the United States has inflicted a military defeat on Iran, she again wants to be friends to boost her 'ratings.' No thanks!!!" - the American leader wrote on the Truth Social network.
