For 60 days, passage through the Strait of Hormuz will remain free - Trump

During the period of the ceasefire regime, that is, for 60 days, no fee will be charged for transit through the Strait of Hormuz.

U.S. President Donald Trump wrote about this on Truth Social.

According to him, introducing payments even after the end of this period is not planned. Trump noted that such a step could be taken only in the absence of an agreement — to compensate for past, current, and future expenses related to the services that the U.S. provides to Middle Eastern countries and which he called the "Guardian Angel."

"In this case, the U.S. may have the opportunity to demand appropriate payments," he emphasized.
